For this project, I was asked to make an interactive installation which radiates my passion. It did not take me a long time to decide I wanted to do something with animation. For this project I created an installation including animations. On the wall/easel is a big canvas with two outlines of hands. When you put your hand in front of one outline, animations will project on your hand. Also, because there is a second outline, someone else could join you. I’ve used two sensors, they will detect if someone puts their hand in front of the canvas, so animations will be played. When my installation was done I really liked it when someone said “it almost feels like I’ve got superpowers”.
